- Chief Inspector James Holbrooke and the police are utterly baffled by the terrifying activities of the Postbox Killer, an apparent madman who is butchering his victims and stuffing them into village postboxes. It is left to eccentric private investigator Richard Montrose to uncover the killer - and the astonishing reason for his grisly actions... While in DEATH AFTER DEATH, a man is plagued by nightmares and bodily horrors that disappear as inexplicably as they appear. Is he going mad? Or is there another, more macabre explanation?
