- Une fillette anticipe énormément sa première journée d'école depuis qu'une "grande de deuxième année" lui a dit que Madame Pépin, sa future enseignante, est une extraterrestre de 300 ans qui vole les dents de ses élèves. Le jour J, la fillette fait son entrée en classe, bien décidée à ne pas se faire remarquer, à garder la bouche bien fermée (d'autant plus qu'elle a une dent qui branle!) et, surtout, à ne pas se laisser abuser par l'apparence humaine de son professeur. Mais voilà qu'un garçonnet imprudent avoue en pleine classe qu'il est sur le point de perdre une dent... -- Un récit empreint d'humour, présenté dans une mise en pages à mi-chemin entre l'album et la bande dessinée. Les dialogues des protagonistes sont en effet entièrement rédigés dans les phylactères qui s'insèrent dans des aquarelles au trait expressif et dynamique. Un album efficace et rafraîchissant, non seulement pour dédramatiser les peurs liées à la rentrée scolaire. [SDM]
