- Summary
- Get ready for high speed hilarity, diverting detours, dangerous curves and plenty of fun-filled adventure as Goofy, and his teenage son Max take to the open road on a wacky cross country motor trip. Goofy finds himself up to his floppy ears in misadventure and is "driven" to distraction when he takes Max on a fishing trip in an effort to bridge the generation gap and spend some quality time bonding with his offspring. Max, who has nightmares about turning into a goof like his dad, would rather spend time with the lovely Roxanne (who has finally agreed to go out with him) but is dragged along for the ride without any choice in the matter. When Max tells Roxanne that he can't keep their date because he is going to the big California concert featuring their favorite superstar, Powerline, he sets into motion a dangerous deception that is fraught with comic complications. En route to the old fishing hole at Lake Destiny, the same place where Goofy and his dad did their bonding, the hapless travelers have a close encounter with bigfoot, visit a dilapidated theme park and discover a new meaning for the phrase "rapid" transit when their car makes a splash landing in a very grand canyon. Max's moment of truth arrives when Goofy makes him the trip's navigator and he must decide to take the high road to Lake Destiny or give his dad a bum steer that will lead to the big concert and win him favor with Roxanne
